North
Elmham YFC 1 - 0 Diss YFC
North Elmham
notched their first win of the campaign with a memorable 1-0 victory
against Diss YFC. The match was a complete surprise for all as Elmham
against the odds took the lead within the first half. What was more
surprising was they actually held it for the remainder of the match!
The winning goal was scored by Ben Binder in the first half.
Diss
YFC 1 -1 North Elmham
The return match was viewed in much the same vein as the first with
Elmham again taking the lead in the first half, this time through
substitute Jonno. However, unfortunately for the Elmham masses,
Diss repelled all Elmham attacks and even cleared one off the line.
2 minutes from time, Diss finally squirmed through the Elmham defence
to pop up an equaliser, and blow Elmham's chances for a clean sheet
and 2 straight victories.
Still a good
day was had by all, and all players will be looking to the next
round in March, where we are aiming to jump above Loddon in the
league table.
Keep up the
good work lads and ladesses!

New
Advisor members elected
We now have many brand new advisory members. The new Club President
of North Elmham YFC is Mark Raines. We've already seen a singificant
input from the new advisory.
Andy
Jenness has taken over as chairman!
3 months have passed and Andy is doing fine, the club is going in
the right direction, as we are now currently the biggest club in
the county! The committee has had a good reshuffle and we now have
some of the younger members on the committee.
Another
great year for North Elmham YFC!
We won the NFU Mutual Competitions cup for the 2nd year running,
we also took the Rally cup for the 2nd year running, (both highly
sought after), the efficiency trophy was also presented to North
Elmham YFC, as we are naturally a very effient club!
Club
Promotion Competition 2004
We got through to National, after winning the Norfolk and Eastern
area rounds. (Wymondham were no match for us!). However the judges
could all speak fluent Welsh, so Wales won and we came last! - We
were the only team that made the judges laugh.
